Maths at Bucklesham
At Bucklesham Primary School, Maths is an integral part of the curriculum. It is explored in a variety of contexts across different subjects as well as in the daily maths lesson. At Bucklesham we strongly believe that our children should leave us as well rounded mathematicians which means that they will not only be fluent in number calculations but will also be able to reason.
The introduction of the new curriculum, although covering harder content, has given us more time to explore each element of mathematics in greater depth allowing us more time to reason and problem solve with our new skills.
